| The large master bedroom came
uninspired with gray carpeting and mismatched furniture pieces. We
suggested to replace the carped with a highly textures wall to wall
carpet. We moved
the bed to the wall opposite from the sliding glass doors to maximize the
benefit of the nice backyard view. A custom headboard in rich gold and red
tones give the room some drama. We added window treatments to the
sliders and removed the old vertical blinds. We used a carved Indonesian
wood screen for the small window in the back to soften the light. The modern chaise in the front should
inspire the visitor to a moment of relaxation. The dresser in the back is
the original 80's style dresser in the "before" picture below. We painted it
black and updated the hardware to match the more contemporary appeal of
the room.

This bedroom was cluttered with a dated furniture set. The vertical blinds were always closed. We banished the tired look by replacing the vertical blinds with gorgeous curtain panels and a simple rod. For the bed we custom built an upholstered headboard, which we wrapped in the same fabric as the curtains. White and dark brown accents create a soothing atmosphere. Now the room invites visitors to stay and nothing obstructs the gorgeous view to the pool and backyard. For more pictures of this property Click here |

| Instead of a large headboard we used a furniture Mirror to double as a headboard. The crisp 700 thread count hotel linen adds freshness to the room. The sheer curtains don't take away any light and play off the nice view to the back and side yard. We did not place any rugs to let the original hardwood floors show its beautiful rich tones. |

| The original placement of the bed
left the room small with little space to move around. We changed the
orientation of the bed to play off the depth of the room. Instead of a
traditional headboard we chose a transparent iron ornament. Double sheer
curtains soften the light. The main colors in the room are black and white
with a strong accent through highly textured neutrals. The nightstand is
actually a wicker hamper that we equipped with a glass top. The bench has
very similar tones like the other natural materials use in the sisal rug
and the hamper.
